Ingredients

  • 250 g salted butter softened
  • 30 –35 garlic cloves peeled
  • Fresh rosemary leaves or dried rosemary
  • Handful of fresh coriander chopped
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp mixed Italian seasoning

Equipment

  • Spoon or spatula
  • Airtight container
  • Small chopping board & knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Garlic mincer or fine grater

Method

  1. Take very full bulbs of garlic – five is the number of choice.
  2. Break apart the bulbs and peel out all the cloves.
  3. Soak the garlic cloves in a bowl of water for a few minutes, to loosen the skins and make peeling easy.
  4. Then peel the skin off each clove and set aside.
  5. Take fresh rosemary leaves, chop finely and set aside, making sure rosemary leaves are dry if they have been soaking.
  6. Chop leaves from a handful of fresh coriander.
  7. Take the softened salted butter and place it in a mixing bowl.
  8. Using a garlic mincer, grate all the garlic cloves in the softened salted butter.
  9. Then add the chopped rosemary, chopped coriander, and also the chili flakes and Italian seasoning.
  10. Mix it all together very well, so everything is combined really well and smooth.
  11. Store in an airtight container and enjoy, whenever the hanks are low, you’ll be prepared with its like Domino’s garlic butter!

Notes

Keep the garlic butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it will remain fresh for several days. If the butter becomes too firm, allow it a little bit of time at room temperature to soften. For melting, warm a small quantity in the microwave for 5-8 seconds and it will go back to its liquid state, without melting or cooking the garlic.
