Auntie Anne's Lemonade Recipe

On a warm summer day, you can simply enjoy a cold, refreshing glass of Lemonade, just as if you were sitting in front of an Auntie Anne’s store drink machine or pouring a glass from your favorite brand. The flavor of this recipe gives you all of the brightness and brightness of the sun’s color but adds sweetness without being sticky sweet.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh lemon juice about 8–10 lemons
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 cups cold water
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 cups fruit strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, peach, or cherry
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Water as needed 1 tbsp at a time

Equipment

  • Glasses with ice
  • Large pitcher
  • Fine-mesh strainer (for fruit syrups)
  • Medium saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • Lemon juicer (manual or electric)

Method
 

  1. Juice your lemons until you have 2 cups.
  2. Add lemon juice and sugar to a bowl.
  3. Whisk until the sugar fully dissolves.
  4. Mix your lemon syrup with 5 cups cold water.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Add ice to chill and slightly dilute for the perfect flavor.
  7. Add 2 cups fruit + 1 cup sugar to a saucepan.
  8. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar melts and fruit becomes juicy.
  9. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until syrup is thick like pancake syrup.
  10. Strain if you want a smooth syrup.
  11. Cool before adding to lemonade.
  12. Make Flavored Lemonade
  13. Fill a glass with ice.
  14. Add 1–2 tablespoons fruit syrup.
  15. Pour in classic lemonade.
  16. Add fresh fruit or lemon slices.
  17. Stir and enjoy!

Notes

Your lemonade keeps beautifully in the fridge. Store the base lemonade and syrups separately for the freshest taste. The lemonade stays good for 2–3 days when chilled. Fruit syrups last over a week in an airtight container. Stir before serving because the pulp naturally settles at the bottom.
